So today I was going to do another post for my ” 2010 Thank You’s” series BUT change is inevitable and God has place something new to talk about.

Jesus.

It’s Christmas time and of course everyone, believer or not , knows that this is a season where Christians celebrate the birth of our Savior. We’ve heard the story told time and time again about how there was no room in the inn so the virgin Mary had to give birth in a manger, basically a pigs trough, to Jesus. It’s definitely timeless and important to remember that Christmas is about a celebration of His birth.

At the same time we must be careful not to simply focus on the fact that He was a baby. He wasn’t just a baby but He was Jesus, the Son of the Living God with all power in His hands.

Jesus.

Just a name to some but this man was so powerful that even his name has power. In Philippians 2:9-10 it talks about how the name of Jesus is above every name and at his name EVERY knee shall bow.

So basically every name is subjected to the name of Christ and must submit unto it. With that being said, what is your situation? What are you going through? Seriously, think about it. You don’t have to say it out loud since we know that satan is the prince of the airways. Just think it.

Alright you got it.

Now call on Jesus.

You see, you named your situations and problems and that name MUST submit to Jesus. It must bow at the very sound. JESUS.

SO yes, Christmas is the celebration of the beginning of the life of Jesus. That day a baby wasn’t just born, but power was released in the earth. Jesus is alive and as long as He lives His power shall always remain.

Be encouraged in the season of Christmas and New Years. Jesus is the name above all names and at His name EVERY knee shall bow!
