I know, I’m supposed to be on maternity leave from photography but I can still walk and stand and so I figure I can still take a portrait right?! I just can’t get away from my camera. It just kept calling my name and I know I could have ignored it but I just couldn’t. Okay, I could have but I chose not too and you know what, I’m happy with my decision.

My friend, Shaunice, is an awesome mother of yesterday, but as of today, she is a mother of two!! Baby Caleb is here!!!

It finally hit me that he was coming today and I realized that she had no bump pictures!! Every mom deserves some type of bump portraits, even if it’s just a mini session.

So last-minute, after work yesterday I grabbed my amazing second shooter Megs, well I emailed her to see if she could come. She could, so we all met at our location and did a quick mini session. It was gloomy all day but it looked like the sun came out just for us! Yes, it’s true, Jesus loves us.

I am so excited to meet baby Caleb when I get there this afternoon. Of course, I will be taking photos of him outside the womb but enjoy a few of my favorite portraits of the bump from yesterday!
